The European Business Women's Federation PEFA continues its national expansion by officially launching its third territorial branch, PEFA Timișoara.
The event, hosted by
Autoklass Timișoara, brought together 785 participants from Timișoara, Bucharest, Brașov, Cluj-Napoca, Deva, Alba Iulia, Oradea and Arad, confirming the growing interest of the entrepreneurial environment in the organization's values and projects. Three years after its establishment,
PEFA consolidates its presence in the main economic and cultural centers of Romania, after the opening of branches in Iași and Sibiu. The launch of the Timișoara branch is part of the organization's strategy to develop strong and connected entrepreneurial communities at regional and national levels.
The choice of Timisoara as the new PEFA development hub reflects the important role the city plays in the Romanian economy. Recognized for its European openness, innovative spirit and dynamism of the business environment, the city on the Bega River offers the ideal framework for the development of an active and influential entrepreneurial community.
The leadership of the
PEFA Timisoara branch is ensured by branch director
Andreea Mazilu, founder of LA Management & Entertainment, an entrepreneur with experience and active involvement in the development of business communities, together with Liliana Gionea, deputy director, entrepreneur in the field of business management, Marc Jumanca, deputy director, entrepreneur in the HoReCa field and Ana Maria Toth, branch secretary, entrepreneur in the real estate field.
Andreea Negru, President of PEFA, stated: “The launch of the PEFA Timișoara branch sends a strong message to the whole of Romania: entrepreneurship has no gender, and leadership knows no borders, limits or fears.
Timișoara has embraced the PEFA values – excellence, solidarity and entrepreneurial courage – and we have found here a community that understands that progress is built together. Together we build partnerships, generate impact and support the development and consolidation of the business environment at national and international level.”
In turn, Lorena Stoian, PEFA First Vice President, emphasized the importance of developing entrepreneurial networks: “Each PEFA branch is proof that there is a real need in Romania for an entrepreneurial culture based on collaboration and mutual support. Timisoara has all the necessary resources to become a national benchmark: energy, vision and a community that understands the value of partnerships. We are proud that this branch is coordinated by a woman with strategic vision and the ability to build impactful projects.”
The new branch director, Andreea Mazilu, highlighted the scale and emotion of the moment: “The participation of 785 people from all corners of the country demonstrates the strength and relevance of the PEFA community. I accepted this responsibility with determination and respect for what the organization represents. I want the Timisoara branch to become a space for development, inspiration and collaboration for the business environment in the west of the country and a model of good practices at the national level.”
A special moment of the evening was the appointment of Colonel (r) Manuela Mihai as Ambassador for International Relations of the European Employers of Business Women PEFA. With this appointment, the organization reaffirms its strategic objective of consolidating its presence internationally and developing partnerships with the business environment, professional organizations and institutions outside Romania. In her new capacity, Manuela Mihai will coordinate PEFA’s international expansion efforts, contributing to the promotion of Romanian entrepreneurship abroad, creating collaboration opportunities for the organization’s members and developing a solid network of international representation.
The event was held with the support of Autoklass Timișoara, partner of the evening and host of a special edition of the Autoklass Excellence Gala, dedicated to recognizing performance and excellence in business.
